CARICOM demands US lift sanctions against Cuba and Venezuela

(April 16) – Caricom member countries called for the lifting of United States sanctions against Cuba and Venezuela, since all countries must be part of the global effort to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.

This was revealed at the urgent Summit held by videoconference, and convened by Barbados, the country that holds the bloc’s pro tempore presidency.
