Arbitrary Withdrawal of Permission for Action Denounced

At a recent solidarity event for the Black Lives Matter protests organised by Barbados’ Caribbean Movement for Peace and Integration [CMPI] in front of the US Embassy in that nation’s capital Bridgetown, it is reported that the Royal Barbados Police Force withdrew permission for the protest and disrupted the action. CMPI General Secretary David Denny explains the background.
